"Much improvement on the previous night in Scarborough"

"There was no breakfast available despite the description stating there was. The bath had no plug & the electric shower was very temperamental (from cold to scalding). The decor left a lot to be desired with nails/screws sticking out of the walls. There wasn’t a TV in each room & bedroom furniture was unstable."

"Charming hotel close to the train station. The manager was kind enough to carry my luggage up and down the stairs. I arrived exhausted and fighting a froggy voice. The food was amazing and I slept well."

"The room itself was lovely however it was very noisy!!! Not only did it sound like there was a fish tank in the room, there was also loud crackling noises going on!! This resulted in neither of us getting very much sleep at all and unfortunately would put me off staying again. I can only hope this occurs a small minority of the rooms. Such a shame as it is a lovely hotel and perfectly located too."

"The room could do with a little more cleaning and there was some black mould around the bath tub. The toilet needed a deep clean too! The staff on reception were excellent and special mention to Scarlet, Chloe and Josh for their help and kindness. Scarlet was particularly helpful in sorting out an alternative room for me as I wasn’t keen having a room with an adjoining door to the next room (even though it was locked!) Also special thanks to Jack (who managed the spa) and was very keen to try...

"The location is excellent with easy access to riverside restaurants and transport hubs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was really good with a lovely view of Keel Square. Breakfast was OK but overcrowded on three occasions."
