"Tulemar is truly like being in paradise! We woke up to monkeys playing on the roof in the morning and jumping from tree to tree. We could not stop watching them. Brian was our concierge and he was the best! Anything we needed he took care of. We could relax and didn’t have any worries. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly maintained. "This was by far the most expensive place I have ever stayed. We really splurged by staying here, but I have to say it was worth it. The grounds, private beach with amenities like sand toys and boogie boards, the pools and the WILDLIFE. "Great manager, she is kind, knowledgeable, funny, and easy to reach. The place was clean and good location. Great for those on a budget not needing every amenity. If driving, back into parking lot. Grill currently not available due to building of an outside sitting area. Not sure you can walk to marina in 20 minutes, nor would I given the hill, but you definitely cannot walk to the park. "Staff were so polite and helpful - the hike down to the beach is amazing, I wouldn’t say it’s expert level, maybe moderate at most if you’re used to walking trails in any part of the world. Lots of little ants in the sink in the room but you need to expect bugs when in CR! The monkeys really only care to come close if you have food on the balcony. We saw all three species of monkeys in CR from our balcony it was awesome. Overall an excellent experience."

"We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was air conditioned, with a small kitchen that included a refrigerator, plates, utencils, microwave oven, ect. We also had a nice balcony with a table and chairs and a view of the ocean. We had breakfast every day at the restaurant on the premises and also had lunch there once.
