"For the price, it's very clean and has a modern look. Actual had a kettle and fridge in the room unlike many hotel chains of the same price. No pests at all! Housekeeping are VERY friendly and hotel staff overall are very helpful. Minus: no free drinking water in the room, thin walls, no phone in the room, the hotel app never works for tourists, no one answers on Whatsapp, and housekeeping is CONSTANTLY dragging furniture. There was even ongoing maintenance at night! Power tools and dragging...

"A little dated as with many hotels in the Ermita/Malate area but a good location, friendly staff and good restaurant make the Manila Lotus an easy choice, especially for the price. My only quibble is having no top sheet but only one blanket in addition to the bottom sheet."
