"Everything was wonderful. The room was spacious very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the pillars too. The view was amazing. The amenities were in abundance. We had a lot of fun."

"The rooms were very clean, well set up, and had everything we needed. The management were friendly and we got to enjoy fresh baked goodies and a continental breakfast in the morning. The view is peaceful, we enjoyed breakfast on the deck while watching the ocean waves. My one and only suggestion during the colder months is to bring plenty of socks and slippers because the floor gets chilly. Other than that, we will definitely be back!"

"When I read the reviews on Expedia, it said very good so I trusted what they said well, it was like staying in a box. It was so tiny and not up to my standard for cleanliness. The staff was OK but acted like they really didn’t wanna be there I would never recommend staying here. And I was quoted one price and had proof a picture of it and they charged me $30 more on Expedia website and they will do nothing about it to help me out so I’m gonna go through my bank and get my money back. "Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat."

"It was just ok. The real problem is you can hear other guest at early morning hours! My friends that were traveling with us had a $6000 charge that was traced to Beachcomber Motel. They had paid for stay with their credit card at Motel. I was concerned that my credit card could also be compromised, but the front desk said, that since I used a 3rd party to book I needn’t worry! She wasn’t very contrite about the issue and I will not book a stay there ever again. "
