"Pretty run down hotel"

"We stayed 3 nights. Very comfortable room. Chose the location because we had a whale watching tour scheduled and could walk to the boat. Nice Marina area. Several restaurants nearby. Would be lovely in the summer. Too chilly to use the nice pool. Very pretty grounds. They have concerts in the summer right on property. Nice restaurant there but we did not use it due to our schedule."

"Very disappointing experience at the Sheraton San Diego Resort. I booked a Marina Tower room specifically for the view and location, but at check in I was placed in the Lanai Tower and told it was an “upgrade.” It absolutely was not. The room had no view and was far from where we parked. The staff discouraged me from switching rooms and told me the hotel was fully committed for the night, which made it seem like the Marina Tower rooms were oversold. After parking, we had to load our luggage onto a bell cart and drag it across the property while managing two kids, one of them a toddler. It took a long time to even find the building and room. They eventually moved us to another room, but our bill included extra charges that had to be corrected later, including an extra person fee and another room charge that should not have been there. While those were eventually removed, guests should not have to carefully review their bill to avoid being overcharged."

"The room was perfect and we had a direct view of the beach and ocean. We are looking forward to our next stay. "

"The problem with this property is not the property- It’s the bar across the street and not the airport. EDM bass all night long til1:30am. If you expect any sleep you might want to reconsider. Convenient to a lot of attractions walking distance great food. Too bad people are so inconsiderate. Also they were doing light work- nail gun all afternoon in the fence. Bummer!"

"No airport shuttle, super clean room and outdoor pool is nice but not warm water so you decide if you like that or not. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was average, the standard stuff but well kept and all very clean. Only thing we didn’t like is we got room 112 and you can hear all the noice of staff at 6 to 7 and on of cooking and getting things out for their work day. Not the worse thing ever I just wanted to sleep in a little while on my trip. For a family with kids not the best choice as the noice will wake them up. This was a super clear room, accessible to pier of boats and local shops around. "

"It was a great staycation for New Years Eve. Only complaint is that the hotel is so popular it was so crowded. "
