"The rooms including the en suite facilities are finished to a high standard. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice of items available. "Despite being very close to the M4, the room we stayed in was quiet, comfortable and clean. Well maintained public rooms as well. All the staff from check in, bar staff, waiting staff and the maids were very pleasant, helpful and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble. Good value for money & as much breakfast as you need. "My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up."

"We have stayed here before several times but this time was really disappointing. We booked an accessible room but on arrival we were told this wasn't available and we were on the first floor. It was fortunate my operation for a knee replacement was postponed or I wouldn't have managed the stairs (no lift). The first floor room was stifling as it was during the ongoing heatwave. No fan provided.
We went straight to get a cold drink (having driven 200 miles we were parched). Ordered the drinks...

"I had a great stay at this hotel for the night.
Very clean, comfortable beds. Clean shower. Could connect to the TV to watch the likes of YouTube or watch normal channels. Room service, although I didn't use this. A lovely restaurant with lovely food..and the staff were fantastic. Even checked me in an hour early.
