"The guest house is very centrally located in the Ribeira area and the room was spacious, lean and the bed was comfortable. The price was a steal. The staff were very nice to deal with and breakfast was delicious. Excellent coffee. My room was on the third floor and there was no lift so got a bit of exercise in as well. I knew this was the case when I booked so was prepared for it. Because it is central and on a busy street, it is noisy but I felt the location more than made up for that. "

"The property was lovely and very centrally located, which made it easy to get around. The only downside was that there was no lift, and we were staying on the 3rd floor. Travelling with a toddler meant we had to carry the pram up and down the stairs, which was a bit inconvenient. However, we were aware of this before booking and still chose to stay because of the great location and reasonable price. Communication was excellent—Alex responded instantly and provided helpful guidance on how to get...

"My husband and I stayed at 1A (YOUROPO-Market) for 4 nights with our 2 teenage daughters. We arrived a few hours early, the check-in office helped us store our luggages in their lockers until the check-in time. We loved the design of the apartment, and though we found issues with the shower on the first night, they were resolved by the next day. There was a flight of stairs we needed to walk up before we could reach our room on the first floor, but we saw elevators for the subsequent floors...
