"Without a doubt Calhetas best place to stay and eat. Small boutique hotel with high quality food, service, rooms/ houses and a cliff top location second to none. Staff provide attentive but not obtrusive service. Really lovely place to stay. Imagine sitting amidst the vines, fruit veg and flower garden by the lavender edged pool watching the sunset with wine from their own vines before sampling their Michelin type taster menu. "We stayed for four nights as the second half of our holiday and it was our favourite hotel by far. Lovely room (family room with mezzanine), really clean. Beautiful setting surrounded by amazing smelling orange groves. Located just outside Tavira which was fine for us with a car, we went to tavira, Santa luzia and Cabanas in the evenings, day trips up to Alcoutim, castle Marim, Barril beach. Really lovely area.
