"Beautiful, compact barn in a beautiful, quiet setting. Has a useable garden too. You will need a car to stay here. Beautifully decorated, enough for 2 adults as its very compact. We had ice cream, eggs, milk supplied which was nice too. Downside is that the check in is late at 4pm and check out is very rigid at 10am, we asked for an extension,even 30mins as we had a baby, but they said no (I did also check and the property did not have anyone coming to stay when we were checking out, so we...

My cpap machine filter turned black from 4 nights use in that place. I can only imagine what is in my lungs from breathing the air during my stay. "Well, you get what you pay for. I think this may be a fairly new property and they are certainly in the process of upgrading it so kudos to them for that. "We stayed at Bere Cottage when taking my son to university in Canterbury. It is a quaint, very old cottage, and although charming it could do with a bit of TLC - I felt the carpets needed a deep clean, ditto the front door, which would also benefit from a lick of paint, the carpet on the stairs needed replacing, but overall the kitchen and bathroom were clean, the sofas and beds very comfortable and the location perfect, with a good pub just a minute away.
