"I would highly recommend this hostel for Backpackers and solo travellers. It is located walking distance from convenience stores, pharmacies and food options. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The biggest asset for me was the laundry facilities onsite, this was super convenient. Absolutely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. They also have luggage storage for guests so you can make Manila your base of operations if you are travelling with suitcases like I did and then...

Street side rooms might be a bit noisyer, but the street is gated shut at night. Overall, very good value for the money if you are looking for a place to spend the night while in Manila."

The room was small but perfectly appointed with a small balcony overlooking the street. Great art and furnishings around the lobby. Also with some amazing restaurants within close walking distance. Mattresses was hard but I ask staff is they had a pad they could put in it. By the time I got back to my room they had found one and put it in the bed. If you like old world charm.
