"As soon as I walk in, I realize I can eat off this floor right now. That's how clean this place is. And I was like, d*** this place. This place smells so good. Holy man, look how bougie this place is man. All the lights have dimmer switches. The view is amazing Love the hot tub, but the black flies were brutal. They'll get you.\n But had a wonderful stay and will be back. The black won't bother you after Like 9 or 10 o'clock. And iwas like damn look at the shower head that's crazy."

"This place was a little rustic. Beautiful location on the lake. The home smelled musty. I could not make friends with coffee maker. When it was cool it was very comfortable. When it was warm- upstairs didnt cool much. Queen bed upstairs was very hard. Host was helpful."

"A few small touches would make a big difference for this small hotel. Towel racks in the bathroom, a shelf or two to place toiletries, a small set of drawers to unpack clothes into. It was very bare bones. Staff were friendly and did their best to be helpful. WiFi was intermittent and ChroneCast on the TV had to be reset a couple of times."

"Everything was perfectly fine. Rooms were cleaned when we checked in and everyday. Amazing Staff, they take care of everyone nicely. Breakfast was good but they should have more options in Vegetarian too. Parking lot was big and easy to park. Thank you for your service. Would love to comeback for stay."

"Hotel is well situated at the harbour front, with numerous restaurants nearby. It’s within walking distance to downtown Halifax and the citadel. The staff members are courteous and helpful. The rooms are well appointed."

"The room was pretty clean apart from the fact that it was damp probably due to the carpet. The hotel definitely is a bit outdated. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Overall a good experience. Enjoyed the pool and bath tub!"

"Overall 3.5/5 The room was clean and quite spacious, although the bed nook was a bit awkward to get in and out of. It is in a decent part of town (north end) with lots of cute cafe’s near by without the hype of ‘downtown’. The feel is very much like an Airbnb. Access to the property was easy. There is no staff per-se and check in is all digital. Easy to navigate and well communicated. There is, at the time of this review, no long term parking on the street.
