"The hotel provides the basic necessities for a stay. Its location is convenient if you have a car, with easy access to downtown as well as North and West Vancouver. However, there is no designated parking—spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, which is a drawback. The breakfast was average. Additionally, the room had a strong detergent smell, which could be problematic for guests sensitive or allergic to chemicals."

"5-Star Service Every staff member at The Loden is welcoming, informative, and went out of their way to please. We stayed in a room with two beds that was spacious and bright, with comfortable beds, a beautiful bathroom with separate shower and a giant tub, and daily "treats" and lemon water for turndown service. Lobby has complimentary coffee and tea, and the attached restaurant was excellent (although too dimly lit!).Location is excellent-just a 5-minute walk to the seawall, then additional...

"This fantastic hotel is perfectly located for easy downtown sightseeing. We recently stayed and walked to a hockey game. Also walked to Seabus to get to the north shore for dinner the next night. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful and the attention to detail was impressive. Would stay there again the next time we are in Vancouver. "
