necesita mas comida en el buffe para la comida. el desayuno en el buffe es muy desente. la cena del buffe necesita mas varieda deben trabajar mas en el entrenimiento. los restaurante muy bueno el restaurate chino mi faborito y el de marisco. el ginacio no funciona. el bar de la playa muy buena comida mi abitaciones tenia firtraciones. me canbiaron eso si.

The restaurants, the buffet were very good, the staff very friendly, the property grounds are well kept and clean, the beach is amazing, and that’s about it. The entertainment wasn’t good, most of the the beach chairs were broken and old, and there weren’t enough for all the guests. We had to wake up early (6am)to go and reserve 2 beach chairs otherwise we wouldn’t have any, and by 6 am most chairs were already taken.The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom was small and very outdated, the closet doors didn’t close all the way, there was no dresser. The room was just very old and just patched up over the years. Definetely a turn off. We’re been to Puerto Plata many times and always had wonderful things to say about every property we stayed in. Hopefully Blue Bay Villas will step it up for the future.

All of the food was good, but the service was inconsistent. The bar was frequently backed up, and waitstaff were often unavailable. What’s surprising is that I visited 15 years ago, and my mom was there 20 years ago—yet nothing seems to have changed. The buildings are aging, and the rooms feel outdated.

Swim up bar was great! Water was chilly pretty much all week, no laundry service available that im aware of. Staff did wonderful keeping the resort clean. Entertainment staff was great made sure there was lots of things to do. Food was on a scal of 1-5 i would give it a 3. Lots of options just somethings better then others. Beach was beautiful and clean.

The gym needs an update no treadmill and what’s in there doesn’t turn on. Towels are hard to exchange get to the exchange place right on time or you will be using your towels for days! Not enough umbrellas at pools if you are looking for shade you won’t be getting it at this pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the food was good.

I was searching for all inclusive adults only resort and this showed up on the list. I saw the some videos on Tik Tok and was sold. We got there and the whole staff were accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very simple. The only thing I didn’t like was the hand held shower head (it kept coming off)and they didn’t have enough lounge chairs that people were fighting over them. Both at the poolside and beach. Overall the food and alcohol were great. The staff was working VERY hard. Please don’t overlook and take care of them by tipping. What a great experience and had a great time.

This is a Three star resort with four star staff. The rooms are basic and dated but adequate. The food is good, Not great. The Italian restaurant is very good. The Chinese restaurant is very bad. There are only a total of three umbrellas around the two main pools. The beach is very nice. There are a Lot of smokers! You can escape them at the quiet pool by the spa which is a non smoking area. The gym is laughable. There's one workout bench with a decent assortment of dumbbells. One barely functional Elliptical machine and a broken Exercise Bike. The WiFi is very spotty with no coverage in most rooms. The signal seems to be strongest near the quiet pool. The resort is about a 20 minute drive from the airport.

People were friendly and hospitable. Food, drinks and room were mediocre. Grounds were very well kept and beautiful. Pools and swim up bar were very nice. Need more chairs on the beach. People save chairs with towels provided and then stay vacant most of the day.

Room was as requested and not humid. Food was just ok. Staff was just ok and just present not going above and beyond without too many smiles. Property in “desperate” need of upgrading since our last visit 7 years ago. Beach is in a desperate need of an uplift and looks dilapidated. Many lounge chairs needing to be replaced throughout and more to be added. No umbrellas at the main pool areas whatsoever. Charged 20$ USD for late check out after husband became violently ill from food poisoning 3 days after myself and 3 other individuals in our complex. People were falling ill throughout the whole resort when speaking to folks. Hotel told me it was a 24 hour flu. Staff working around the resort with blaring two-way radios and speaking very loudly with no consideration to those in the quiet pool area. Coffee machine in above location wasn’t working for a week and when it was it ran out of milk, coffee and hot chocolate before the end of the day. Most staff serve themselves which is fine but then paying guests don’t have the service because it’s refilled only the next day accompanied with a plate of cookies for all to enjoy. Would I go back … most likely not bit price point can’t be beat IF you know what to expect.
