This property is badly in need of an update. Patio doors have no seals causing noise and rain to come through. Kitchen was poorly stocked with glassware, dishes and cooking pans, toaster had a dangerous electrical shortage, there was no dining table, and water pressure and temperature from the showers was very poor. View from the balcony was the rooftop utilities of the building in between us and the beach. Staff tried had to please but they could only do so much. We stayed in one of the penthouse units and the rooftop pool and deck were the only saving graces. I would not rent again.

Freddy and his staff are friendly and extremely helpful. This is an outstanding alternative to the surrounding resorts, which we find to be soulless. We enjoyed our time here, a stones throw from the beach. The area is very safe and if you wanted to, you could remain barefoot for the duration of your visit. We would happily stay here again.

The location was pretty good, it was next to a large resort and walking distance to several restaurants. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Every morning we ate at an open-air sit down restaurant right on the beach and they had fresh fruit and juice and several options. We stayed in the penthouse and had our own hot tub on the roof- absolutely amazing! The people were very friendly.

This is a tourist trap. Not front of the beach. They modify the photo to look on the beach. Not clean, not well maintained. Hot water turn from cold to very hot. Small choice breakfast. But large 2 rooms apartment. Check neighbours prices, much cheaper there.

The room itself was fenomenal, however there was no hot water and the bed was extremely uncomfortable to the point of causing pain and discomfort. Getting to the property was extremely unattractive, and parking onsite is limited to just 5 spaces 2 of which were taken up by their own vehicles. Proximity to the beach was incredible.

Customer Service Lacking.

We arrived and had to wait over an hour for our room upon arrival. Then we did not have towels in the "penthouse" to accomodate the number of guests and toilet paper for all three bathrooms.The next day we were gone all day and when returned our room had not been serviced. As a result they were trying to clean while we were in house and did not do a thorough. They clearly did not have enough help. I would not recommend this hotel as the front desk staff are not professiional. The guy that checked us in even drank alcohol whileon duty. Unbelieveable!!!

プンタカナ初日一泊利用 家族旅行

プンタカナ滞在初日の一泊のみ利用しました。広いお部屋へアップグレードして頂き大変快適なステイでした。キッチン付きで利用はしませんでしたが子供のマグカップを洗ったりする洗剤等が付いてて良かったです。エレベーターがないのが難点。朝食は小さな子供2名分のバウチャーもちゃんと支給され、ホテル近く海辺のレストランへ。海を眺めながらの朝食が楽しめます。ホテルから徒歩5分程歩くとスーパーやレストランがあり便利です。

I loved the location so close to the beach and the property manager Freddy took care of our every need. Ill definetely be staying there again and i have no complaints. With all the stories going on about DR i didnt know what to expect but i was glad i came. Never did i feel unsafe or unhappy. Cant wait to get back

This was a full apartment with kitchen, living room, and 2 bedrooms. I was expected just 2 bedrooms. There was only air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms. The main areas were so hot that they were difficult for us to use. The air conditioner in one bedroom did not work that well so it was pretty warm but the other was good. We arrived late and our toddler was already asleep so I put her down in one room. When I looked more carefully, there was a balcony where the door was broken so you couldn't lock it. I didn't feel good about her staying in there by herself so I slept with her. My husband slept in the other bedroom. I feel like that door should have been an immediate fix because of safety concerns with children. The pool area was beautiful and not many people. We had a bit of a problem communicating because many of the employees did not speak any English. They had a deal for breakfast with a restaurant down the street. That was the highlight of our visit. The restaurant was so quaint with a beautiful beach view. Wonderful service and delicious food!

Beautiful property - really spacious suite - FABULOUS location and the nicest staff. We really enjoyed our stay in this vacation condo. It’s not an all inclusive so technically less “amenities” & probably not for those wanting that type of scene. But if you want freedom, easy beach access, easy restaurant access - even if you are just walking - there are tons of options nearby for food. The neighborhood is safe. Like anywhere you might travel to - use normal precautions/common sense. The staff is very happy to help you find your way around - arrange cars etc. and the restaurant breakfast delish. We hope to be back one day. Thank you ChateauDM!

Decent place to stay outside of a resort. Close to the beach but no way to sit in chairs on the beach bc resorts own them. Hotel was good and the area had a few places to eat within walking distance. We did excursions every day so just a place to sleep. The beds were comfy and clean.

A cozy place right at the ocean front.

Very nice and cozy place. Just a few steps away from the ocean front. Friendly staff and helpful. You can have breakfast at the Lio Beach Restaurant by the ocean. Feel the ocean breeze while having the breakfast. Great experience.

Daily breakfast is a half block walk to a beautiful little beachside restaurant where breakfast is prepared for you. Hotel staff are receptive to your needs. We had an issue with a bed mattress that was too soft and we were offered another room with a firmer mattress. The staff also looked out for the safety of our teenager and we really appreciated that. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book the hotel again for future travels.

Loved the stay at the Chateau Del Mar

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The suite was spacious and well appointed. The staff were very helpful and we felt safe! Good restaurants close by, close beach with chairs available. We enjoyed our time relaxing! The only downside was we had to ask for towels several times. Other than that...all was good!

We loved our 3 bedroom master suite kids had there own room with balcony and master room had ocean view with balcony and walking closet!! Walking showers with Hot water I highly recommend this property for ur next vacation to punta cana Also beach is 5 min walking distance shops and restaurants about 7min walking distance Breakfast included is great there menu consist of yougurt w fruit,pancakes, omletes, toast and juice and coffee

I didn’t care for the area, narrow street, or parking. I thought I’d have a room with a nice view but instead my patio faced a vacant lot with garbage. The condo was nice but we found a live cockroach in my kids room! Hot tub not working. Welcome drink was water. The beach was not groomed so there was seaweed all over & it smelled like sewage. Ended up leaving for an all inclusive. They charged me for one night that I wasn’t staying per there policy. I believe they shouldn’t have after I told Freddy about the cockroach I killed and left in the room for them to see.
