"The King room does NOT have an actual king sized bed. It is two twin beds pushed together. There is a very hard and noticeable divot in the middle of the "bed". Also, if like me, you're a taller person and need the extra length of a queen/king bed you will not find it here. The hotel is very safe and clean, but unless you want to specifically stay in the ximen area I'd recommend a different option, especially if you're tall."

"This is a nice upper scale hotel of the traditional era. The decor is very peaceful and the staff are very kind. I wish the water pressure for making a bath was better. It takes a long time to prepare a bath, but it is nice to have bath salts supplied by the hotel. Also, the AC fan is very loud and the room had too much humidity. The breakfast had many options and the food was tastly. However, you cannot order a raw egg for your rice (or nato). There is also no 'easy over' option when ordering eggs. So, preparation of the eggs with a soft yolk was always a hit or miss! In all, I think the value is good and the hotel is conveniently located next to the TPE main station."

"Overall ok stay. Family and I had a long layover in Taipei and opted this hotel, mainly due to its location just 5 mins walk to the Ximending night market. The hotel entrance is a small opening from the street level. I would honestly missed it if it wasn’t for the taxi driver. The lobby is on the 2nd floor but only one counter. It would take awhile during evening check in hours. The overall cleanliness is all right. Bed and comforter is comfortable. No bottles of water in room at all."
