"We spent two nights at this cute place. It was clearly old, but in good condition. The grounds were well maintained with some areas for grilling, corn hole, horse shoes, and some disc golf baskets. "Beautiful boutique hotel! Very clean inside & outside. Bed & bedding are comfortable. I think the bathroom lighting needs an upgrade; it’s too dim by the mirror and the lighted swivel mirror doesn’t quite compensate for better overhead lighting. No coffee maker in the room but they offer coffee in the lobby or McDonald’s is a very short walk. "

This was a different type of stay from the "modern" cookie cutter type hotel. I highly recommend this place and room 101. Not sure all the rooms were like this but it was very nice. "What a lovely place to get away. The building had quaint charm and my room was cozy and welcoming. All I needed for a fire was ready to go, bed and bedding was luxurious and comfortable, coffee for the morning with REAL creamer in the fridge. The dining room and common sitting room was inviting and decorated beautifully. My made to order breakfast was healthy and delicious. Biggest treat was the personable staff. True locals that treated me like a new friend."
