"The staff were welcoming and professional, all needed info given for a smooth check-in.
However, the room was very run down with flaking paint, mould, stained carpets and walls. Bed was very soft and tired, like everything else.
The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Hairs and toothpaste visible on the sink and a a very dirty toilet.
I knew the room was cheap, but if I'd known the level of the accommodation, I would have paid the extra to go elsewhere."

Excellent breakfast and a good menu for dinner - well presented and very tasty.

"I have stayed here over May years. The staff are always lovely and willing to help. The rooms are clean, and having been refurbed, a great place to stay. Breakfast was really good. However, the prices seem to have increased a lot, there are much cheaper options in the vicinity, but this is somewhere I keep coming back to!"
