Hotel Golf di Ramsgate

"The hotel is in a prime Ramsgate location high up over the harbour; all front rooms have superb views. The welcome was warm and we were shown to our room (22) on the third (top) floor. There was no information about the public areas either verbally or in-room, so we explored & found four charming downstairs rooms. "I love these type of B&B’s. This B&B is steeped in history built in the 18th century, On the land owned by the Spencer family, Vincent Van Gogh also lived on the square, so this is not a modern hotel if that’s what you’re looking for, it has steep stairs and smallish rooms, but is full of character, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hospitality was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious, the pub on the corner is very friendly and only a short walk to the beach."
