"The rooms are good ,well designed and decent size. Staff are friendly but we smelled cigar smell in the reception from staff. AC sound is loud in the night and can hear noise from the other rooms."

"Overall great experience - with that said their computer system wasnt working right. I was charged for the room twice (over and above the already charged payment from Expedia) and also a $100 security deposit. I brought it up the next day and it was immediately corrected. Nice hotel, good local, and friendly staff."

"Very historical feeling, but also very elegant and updated and comfortable. Fantastic bed. Stylish lighting and accessories good. Shower was fancy. Pool was unique with statue and columns. Weight room had free weights. Breakfast was not free, but the town is fantastic for finding food options. Walking shop strip district 2 blocks away very worth a visit. Excellent experience."

"I stayed for 2 nights and at the end of my stay I noticed some itchy bug bites throughout my body. After getting home, I saw a local provider who determined it was bed bug bites. I called the hotel to let them know and seek some compensation and was denied, which they claimed that I had gotten them from bringing out my luggage at gas stations. "We only needed somewhere to lay our heads for a night and for the price, it was perfectly fine! My back is killing me from the bed but other than that it was clean and the breakfast was actually better than most places we have stayed. Front desk was also friendly!"

"I stay here whenever I am in town because it's the cheapest and check-in is always easy, even after 10 pm. However, the room I had this time had some plumbing challenges. Clogged bath, loose toilet seat. Enough towels for one person and stained. But I understand many towels are stolen quite often at this location. The place always serves the primary purpose, which is a place to stay late when the races get out, and is easy enough to leave first thing in the morning. Grateful for the $22 discount...
