"The check in/out desk was manic. the lines were 5 people deep for all three staff. The room itself was noticeably smaller than it appeared on the website. We booked two family rooms side by side for our group of five. The air-conditioning in one room struggled the entire stay, although the other room was fine. The TVs were very small with no decent channels, and none of them were smart TVs — which really should be standard these days.
We stayed during Nyepi Day, and the food/menu was honestly terrible. We paid an exorbitant amount for food that was virtually inedible and ended up spending nearly $100 on instant noodles from the mini-mart inside the hotel just so we had something we could eat. For a hotel marketed with a Western theme, the least they could do is offer food that guests can actually enjoy. The spa was the most expensive spa I have gone to in Bali and the massage left me with more pain than relief. Overall, nice and clean but totally not worth the cost."
