"The motel is an older Route 66 property. If you are a Route66 traveler, you will enjoy this motel. The owners, Kevin and Paula, are very friendly and helpful. The motel is clean and you park right in front of your room. We walked around Kel Lake and enjoy this area."

"It was okay. I had bought new socks put them on in the room and they were brown from dirt on the floors after wearing them for like 2 minutes."

"The room was ok. There were no outlets to charge your phone. That is so important to have in a hotel room when your traveling. I was really disappointed in the room. You cannot really fit into the bathroom. The door if open to bathroom does allow you to get to toilet paper. The sink is outside the bathroom. Its not very appealing to have to use the sink and its in another room. Who thought of that hot mess. The breakfast needs a little help to be honest. No teas, or coffee options, creamer, no...

"Even though the facility was undergoing renovation, my room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. It was close to the interstate, a restaurant, gas station and dollar store. Breakfast offered choices."

"We originally booked rooms at another hotel only to be greeted with far less than desirable conditions. So we moved to this one. What a well taken care of property. The staff was outstanding! The young lady working the front desk was exceptional! Shauntella??? She went above & beyond to accommodate our party and allowed us to have a late checkout the next day due to our troubles with the other hotel. What a great experience after a crappy start at the other place. Breakfast was fantastic too."

"We have stayed here multiple times because our daughter is close. They have always been wonderful to us and they make sure we are in the same cottage every time. The only thing I wish they would do is either get new mattress or put memory foam on the bed. Other than that it’s perfect"
