"Check in started off poorly when the nice lady at the desk told me that the Expedia Confirmed Reservation had been changed from a single King Bed to double queen room due to overbooking?? "I rate this hotel 3.9/5. I only stayed for one night and used a limited number of the amenities provided by the hotel. When I first got out onto the parking lot, I noticed an unpleasant smell, though inside was free of this smell. Customer service was good. The receptionist was polite and explained what was needed. We were even given the option of what floor we wanted to stay on. The elevator was slow and stalled for a few seconds longer than comfortable before the door opens. I didn’t notice...

"Parking was outstanding. Requested 2 beds got one, ice machine yielded a cup of ice (10 ounces) after three minutes, coke machine charges 350 for a soda and takes 450 from your bank card. When asked for a 3 dollar refund I was told that that they have nothing to do with the soda machine. There is no phone number to call if the machine overcharges you. You just lost the money she says. That's just a snapshot of the experience."

"The Harbinson House was a great place to stay for going to a show at Ace of Spades. It is in a beautiful historic neighborhood and the place itself is a quirky historic home. I was able to walk back and forth from the venue while looking at the amazing architecture of the houses. My room had an Alice In Wonderland theme with a functioning Victorola which was really cool.
