"We had a single night's stay here on a Saturday night. They had 3 functions ongoing, with 2 of them relatively noisy. People outside our bedroom window chatting loudly until nearly midnight. Nothing wrong with people enjoying themselves but there should be advance warning and a discount if the hotel is really full with functions. "Beautiful property and decor however the main let down was the service of the staff in all areas of the hotel. We experienced poor service at breakfast, the bar, and reception. Staff seemed so disinterested it really made the overall stay unpleasant."

I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. "The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel.
