"Roof was leaking in our room, hot tub smelt like sewage, fan stopped working, door handle was broken. Got the elite package, nothing elite about it other than we got a different menu. No music, nothing happening on the adult side. More happening on the family side. Couldn’t get reservations for restaurants that were half empty. They did come and fix some of the issues. The staff if you didn’t get alcohol ignored you in some restaurants. We ordered food from one place and wish I was lying, but 1min later food was out. Asked for the meat to be medium rare it was well done and husbands chicken was ice cold. We just got up and walked out. Went to the bar and had better steak sandwich. Butler George we had was great and very helpful. "

"This resort is the worst that we have ever stayed at. Aside from maybe a couple of staff members that are actually nice and friendly, all other staff members from management to those that clean the bathroom are the most miserable people I have ever met. Nobody says hi when they walk by you. Most of the time, I have to make way for them to past and not even a thank you. This is nothing to do with the language! Food is boring with very little selection. I have been going to Dominican annually for 20 years and have stayed at different resorts. I know what having good food is like. We were reprimanded by the towel guy on our first day that we can't change our towels more than once per day!!!??? Really???? Pool was nice...HOWEVER, we were being asked to get out of the pool one day because they needed to do some kind of training for their employees. It was about an hour early in the morning which we were fine to do. Then they came back in the afternoon and just took over the pool for hours and on. I am the paying guest. I pay the hotel to stay at the hotel and use the pool as I please. It is ridiculous that they would even ask for their paying guests to get out of the pool and inconvenience the payment guests so that they can train their staff in the pool for lifeguards...by the way. I would not want these guys around when I'm drowning because by the time they get to me, I'll be dead! The resort didn't give anyone any warnings that this was going to happen. "

"The restaurants were fully booked every night, it wasn’t convenient to make reservations since they don’t allow reservations to be made while booking the vacation. We didn't get to try any of them except the steakhouse. The only times available (sometimes) were between 9:30-10:30 and they recommended going to see them periodically throughout the day to see if people had cancelled their reservations. We tried tha and there was barely cancellations but when we walked by the restaurants they weren’t crowded. When we finally got a a reservation to the steakhouse the food was cold and looked exactly like the food from the buffet. Other than that the resort itself was beautiful and had tons of fun at the pool and beach. Most of the staff was friendly. Resort is huge so a lot of walking!"

"Pool was great, beach was great. Water park was great. However , No room towels it was a hassle to get shower towels. One day our water was brown and they messed up our room assignment. Refrigerator didn’t work but they replaced it. Bathroom set up had no privacy. Overall enjoyed our stay just disappointing with certain setup and obstacles. "
