The room was very nice and the staff was courteous and helpful. My only issue was with the restaurant. There were no healthy choices on the breakfast menu -- no fruit, no oatmeal, no yogurt. Only fried foods like bacon, eggs and fried potatoes, though in different formats. I ordered the corned beef ...

The Berkeley Hotel
The hotel is outdated, even the updated rooms. It’s very dark The restaurant staff was not friendly and the lobby/restaurant smelled like cigarette smoke. They lock the doors at night and give you a key to get in, which made me feel very unsafe about the area.

Linden Row Inn
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The Inn has old world charm and feels like you are living a part of history when you are there. The Poe references throughout the Inn are priceless. As a bonus the Inn is close to lots of things to do
