"Good value for money compared to other hotels near Gatwick. The airport shuttle is convenient—it's not cheap, but neither is taking an Uber, even though the hotel is less than two miles from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. There was no air conditioning or fan, so opening the windows meant some road noise. The hotel restaurant was decent, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Turn left out of the hotel to reach a pleasant, pedestrian-friendly area with a charming town center. I'd happily stay here again for an overnight stop before or after a flight."

"Booked family room for 5 guests at a great price... can't grumble for what i paid, it was a place to rest for a night. The main bed was comfy, the other 2 beds were not so great but not awful. Clean bedding. Didn't have a remote for the TV but reception gave us one. Heating in the bathroom was on in scorching weather but reception sorted that too. The room had a bit of a funky smell and a bit of mould but nothing drastic Extremely annoying that I paid for breakfast for 5 people and got told they dont serve breakfast... when I asked for a refund I got told to go via hotels.com who I used to book and have been completely ignored by them. No refund for breakfast which I must partly blame the hotel for allowing it to be an option, despite not booking directly. Im sure they could have helped. Overall, its a place to rest, if its a good price its okay... if you want high end, this is not it. And dont pre pay for any food!!"

"Great location for Gatwick airport. Staff lovely and communications good. Room door lock was standard for B&B so we put our heaviest suitcase behind it to feel a little more secure. The front door was wide open when we left and no staff manning the reception which intruders could take advantage of. However the price and location of our stay was good."
