"The pictures on the website were outdated pictures and did not represent the actual current state of the hotel. During our stay, noises from the room above us was very loud. It felt like the ceiling was going to collapse. Continental breakfast was as expected and staff was friendly. Important note: I don't invest time writing reviews when I travel, but felt others should be aware of this information before making their plans or reservations for this hotel. "

"As we checked in he said they only cleaned the rooms every other day, but if we wanted we could have them clean no charge. We said that we did want it cleaned and the beds made. I then received a text a few hours later just making sure that we wanted our room serviced and I replied that we did. When we got back to our room the next day, someone had put a no service on our door, no one had made the beds or cleaned the room. When I called the front desk, he said all he could do was have someone...

"I had a great stay at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Allentown West. The rooms were excellent, very clean and designed with a cute, modern style that made the space feel comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast was great with plenty of options to start the day. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely stay here again."

"The front desk clerk was unpleasant and did not smile once. She seemed very annoyed and shuffled back and forth slowly as if she was either highly medicated or just extremely tired. The next morning she had the same attitude and told me to "wait" until she was ready to come out of her office in order to assist me up front. At night anys would greet me on my pillows and the nightstand where my water bottle rested. And then to add insult to injury, there was a wasp in the curtains that just hung...

"Staff members were very kind and professional. The floors in my room had lots of debris as if housekeeping forgot to vacuum. The shower/bath surfaces were stained. The room furniture looked pretty new. The breakfast was less than what I'm used to and not very appealing. I skipped it all together. The hotel is next to a highway but very tucked away down a hill. The road leading to it was pretty chopped up and frankly the area felt too desolate and creepy."
