"I’m real easy going, simple, and easy to please, but my stay here was less then subpar.. so much so I actually feel inclined to leave a review. Staff were incredibly rude, dismissive, and uninterested in doing their job. We were traveling with toddlers and with a late arrival at 11PM just wanted to watch some TV in the room and take a warm bath after a whole day of traveling. Neither amenities worked. Went to watch a movie on our phone and the wifi was also useless. When I confronted the front...

"The hotel and staff were nice. The room didnt have shampoo and conditioner, so that was unfortunate. The breakfast room was also very hot and the offerings were slim. Otherwise it was just one night and was a nice stay!"

"The property looks very clean on the outside in pictures but the exterior walls have not been cleaned in a very long time. The lobby to check in was very clean. The room was very clean as well. Very well stocked with towels, washcloths, and hand towels. It was very aggravating to get the luggage to the room with the cart as you have to go to the other end of the building for the elevator and go through 2 hallways and doors and maneuver thru very narrow hallways. "Loved the entrance and exit doors close to the rooms, instead of having our elderly family members walk far to get to their room. It’s a BIG hotel! The executive suite was perfect."

"This property is old but provided updated amenities. Walls are not very well insulated so noise was an issue. The location was across the street from a park and within sight of the Mackinaw Bridge."

"Easily accessible parking. No wait time at the front desk. Our nighttime latch was broken when we arrived, notified the staff and stepped out to eat. It was fixed when we came back to the room. Worth every penny. Convenient to docks and walking distance to shopping district."

"NIGHTMARE STAY! The first room we had had an electrical problem. outlets did not work, no safety plates on outlets, nothing worked unbeknownst to us and refrigerator leaked water everywhere and food was ruined, maintenance came in and reluctantly just replugged refrigerator in and walked out which did not resolve the issues. Back to front desk where they hesitated to move us but realized we could be electrocuted as rugs were all wet so we had to move all our stuff (a lot) to a different room...

"The hotel was ok. The staff was fantastic. The breakfast was always hot and plentiful. The only thing about the hotel was it was extremely noisy. The air conditioner and the bathroom fan was like a freight train coming through. Other than that everything was good. I would stay there again."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was clean, but bathroom was dated and water pressure not great. Also some gouging along one wall was a little unsightly and in need of repair and the curtains although functional were stained in places. A very nice view of the Mackinaw Bridge and the beach area was nice for sitting and enjoying the view, but no access to actually swim. The pool, free breakfast, and general grounds were all nicely maintained."
