"The Springhill Suites in Escondido were great. The room was quite large and clean. The hotel is located near many places to eat that are walkable. Definiteley recommend if you are in Escondido"

"Room was clean and spacious but smells like you stepped into a historical archive. The room balcony door was open upon arrival and A/C wasn't turned on anywhere on the property so it was super hot. The A/C unit worked well to cool the room down after several hours. Complimentary snacks are provided in the room, which was a nice touch. "It had a very decent size fridge, microwave, coffee, hair dryer, which we were happy to have. The photos of this place are deceiving. We had a king room and it was extremely small, but we made it work. What we didn't like was the cleanliness. Both nightstands had stuck on crud that needed to be scraped off with a razor, like sticky candy or ice cream that had been dried on and stuck there for a while. It was pretty disgusting."

"Clean remodeled rooms with air conditioning important this time of year in Escondido. Friendly staff that is informative. Ample parking with lots of parking lot lights for safety."

"Property wants pets because they get 30 dollars a night per dog. Spent 3 nights for 180 dollars and the room was never cleaned a definite ripoff for pet owners. Room had dirty floors and the only available room on ground floor was a single king size bed"

"Room was clean although bed sheets did have stain and towels had stains to I stayed in room “ B” and the door did not shut all the way had to put a chair to keep it closed also they secretly record you so BE AWARE!"

"The most important stay at Hilton Garden Inn is customer service. Especially, manager Christoper was very attentive, friendly and professional. He made myself and family feel at home as if we known him for a long time. Also the rest of the staff was welcoming. Thank you all."

"No trash can I the room no security resulting to sketchy individuals in the parking lot The room was dirty and was switched to another room that had the tv off the wall no trash can loud neighbors lol don’t do it !"

"Carpets were dirty and stained, walls had scuffs on them and furniture was damaged. A/C barely worked and when I asked for someone to check it I was told this was energy saving option. Reservation was for four people, yet there were only three towels in the bathroom and two bottles of water. Lights were so dimmed you could barely see at night and some of them didn't work. Upon check-in I was invited to sign a document declining housekeeping services since we stayed three nights. Not a four star...
