"The room was a bit dated with a lot of “brown furniture” and could do with a little update. This was a little disappointing but did not detract from the overall state of the room. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much effort or trouble. They were friendly and welcoming. We had the “full English” which was well present, full of flavour and hot. "Great hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was freshly cooked with lots of it and was delicious. Although a fan was provided, our room was very hot but our stay did coincide with the hottest days of this year so far. Would definitely stay there again."

"Our Cosy Double was as advertised -small but well furnished and equipped with everything you could need. It was very clean. We had a lovely view of the extensive gardens. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and freshly prepared and great service too. We also had a meal in the bar and that too was very good. The gardens are delightful and we walked around them many times and it was a real bonus to have several sightings of the deer. A small negative was that we had not realised that...

"We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall."

"We didn't have breakfast there. Bar offered a good choice of drinks. The extractor fan didn't work in the on suite but it was kept very clean. The stairs to the room were quite steep and the doors were very close together making it a little difficult to manoeuvre. The toilet was quite tall so shorter people may find their feet wouldn't touch the floor. The bed was very comfortable."

"Had a fantastic weekend stay at Wakehurst dome, great communication with staff prior and during visit. Lots to see, beautiful calm surroundings. Hot tub was great, clean and so relaxing. Highly recommend!"
