"This was our 7th stay at the Catalonia Royal Tulum. We love this property. We even saw the monkey on our way to breakfast! Staff was excellent as always. Some special shout outs go to Angeles at the Palapa who greeted us by NAME every morning and lunch --so sweet! And Miguel at lunch and the Steakville--- so nice and friendly and always bringing us more cervasa! David was a riot at the Adelita with recommendations on the menu and excellent service! And last but not least we loved Betzabe at the BeLoved by the beach---so sweet and attentive. We felt so special all week. The only thing we were surprised by was the fact that this was our 7th time there was not recognized. Expedia gave us a room upgrade which was great but the staff didnt acknowledge our 7th stay. No big deal but it would have been nice. Great weather and staff and property! we will be back!"

"This resort is incredibly beautiful with amazing staff that were kind and friendly. The only reason I did not rate this 5 stars is because both the breakfast and lunch options were redundant. The food items were all the same every single day without any variety."

"Room was a disaster. Drains in room did not work called for service everyday I was there. The drain in sink was fixed day 3 along with the shower handheld component. However, shower drain never was fixed and we had a flood in the room that reached out to the beds. My kids were showering and didn’t realize that it was overflowing on the fourth day. We called to complain someone came out and tested and said it was fine. I was told it was fixed so the fifth day they didn’t pay attention to it assuming it was fixed. Well, it certainly was not and just a bad flood all over again. The hotel did not want to compensate us in any way. "

"My wife, kids, and I just got back from a weeks saty at Kantenah Family Selection. This was our first time at this resort. Our expectations were far exceeded. The property is beaautiful and so well kept up. The staff is always working hard to keep this place beautiful. I would have to say the best part of our trip was the excellent service. The staff was so kind and accomodating. They really go out of thier way to make your stay memorable. We plan to come back as soon as we can."

"We were a party of six and our stay at the Barcelo Maya riviera was superb. The modern minimalist design appealed to us as the rest of the five hotel complex looks old and dated. Our ocean front rooms were on the highest floor and had an awesome viewing incl of the sunrise. The huge Rooms were new looking and well appointed. Buffet meals at Bf n lunch were excellent! And all four specialty restaurants (Mexican n Asian n Italian n French ) offered refined and delicious dining choices. Make sure you book your reservations for these on arrival. We loved all the massive pools as well as the great gym. Jonathan checked us in n out n he was so good n helpful to us. The short walk from BMR to the cenote Azul close by was also worthwhile. Highly recommend this resort esp if you r Expedia VIP as you will have extra perks n treats. "

"The pool is amazing! Top notch hotel. Enrique, buffet waiter, is the best. The only downfall to this hotel is reservations to restaurants. You can only make one reservation per day and most reservations are already full. We could only get reservations at restaurants at the end of our stay because every other day was full. "

"This is an incredible property. We were able to enjoy the fun adventures at the parks as well as the hotel. Although expensive, if you and your family are adventure enthusiasts, it’s a good deal. "
