"Robinsons Mall is right next door with plenty of shopping and dinning options. This hotel is great for short stays and stop overs. The only shortfall is there is no where to hang or store clothing if you are staying more than a few days."

"I booked at Golden Gates years back, it went great! I recently booked again at GG because of my previous experience with them. Golden Gates again was a great experience. Staff were very nice and professional. My flight was rebooked and I needed to stay an extra night, the transition was very fast and easy. Stores are nearby to purchase any necessities. If I’m ever in Dumaguete again, I’ll be staying at Golden Gates without hesitation. "

"The rooms were as described, and true to the pictures. The staff were friendly and accommodating heads up if you enjoy a little drink at night, probably not the hotel for you as they have a no drinking policy. The surrounding area was close to everything you need."

"The owner was very responsive to our needs and request. I asked if we could have Christmas tree and to my surprise there was a beautiful tree on the buffet for us. Any questions we had she was quick to respond back. Rooms where clean. Plenty of restaurants with in walking distance. The pool was clean and very nice. It was a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely book there again. "

"Always good VFM and close to city centre. Although a bit smaller the downstairs rooms are just as good as the family room. So book smaller room with small charge for extra bed."
