"The room was adequate (matched the price I paid) - lots of parking, easy check in and check out, but I was slightly disappointed with cleanliness - mildew around tub edges, stain on sheets, no stopper in sink, just general neglect to details - again, I got what I paid for. The major negative was the shower had to settings when running - scalding hot or freezing cold - no way to just have warm water. I expect just two amenities when I book cheaper motels - a clean bed and the ability to shower....

"The rooms are spacious and sre always clean. They offer a good breakfast every morning. The staff is always kind. If you don't want to sit or lie in the bed all day/ or night, there is a separate living area, that's very nice. The Hyatt Place is our choice of hotels in and out of Michigan."

"The onsite team or front desk was great. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the room. I dropped something on the floor and when I went to retrieve the item, I noticed how dusty it was under the bed. Keep in mind, the bed sits high off the floor and the floor is vinyl. There was a film along the plastic baseboard that only happens when you mop without sweeping and now there is gunk stuck to the baseboard and floor. My recommendation is that at least twice per year the beds are pulled out...

"There was door almming and baninging noise throughout the stay that seemded to be either structula.problem or maintenance issue. I also had issue with a group of young prople being loud for hours late at night. I called front desk but the clerk just said she will call the police. The noise continues well past 1am. I would not come back for sure."

"The first thing I usually do when I get to a room is set up my CPAP machine. There were no plugs next to the bed so i moved the bed slightly to get to an outlet and saw that it has not been cleaned under in a really long time. I stayed the night, but was not happy. I went to breakfast the next morning and it was so messy and burnt stuff on the waffle maker. We did not eat breakfast. We actually left the hotel 2 days earlier than we were originally booked for."

"BED BUGS , This place has bed bugs. Traveled from Grand Rapids area to attend a concert. Checked into the room around 4 and immediately headed to the concert. Came back for the night around 11:15 and went to get into bed and found bed bugs. Ended up leaving and just driving home. Now to battle with the hotel and Expedia to get our money back."

"This place is not a safe place for travelers. The front desk provided a room key to us for a room that was occupied. Kids all over the place including behind the front counter. pool was not opened, which was a blessing as it probably was not sanitary. we walked out without staying even one night and was denied our money back. This place needs to be shut down by the health dept. Disgusting"
