I stayed in room 102 the room was probably the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, certainly the pictures make it look bigger. The safe did not work, the curtains did not close properly, the room was very nosy from people talking on the road to people talking while walking past the room, lack of plug points to charge phone etc at night the shower was extremely small and the water was not constant one second hot the next cold impossible to have a decent shower the room was clean and tidy and the hotel was near the central station

Basic facilities such as Kettle so no access to drinking hot water in room. No Fan quite surprising given high temperatures in Rome in the summer Room looked tired while bathroom had broken tiles. Had to ask for a room change. The only good thing for me was the location, very central. Close to train station, small shops and restaurants.

After a last seconf cancelation by a different host, I ended up at this property and have a very good expperience. The staff were kind in helping me get my reservation changed over. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. Overall, a great experience!

Vi blev otroligt fint välkomnade av personalen i receptionen. Dem såg till att vi fick ett fint och stort rum som passade bra för oss som reste med barn. Läget var perfekt (!!), runt hörnet från Roma Termini men ändå en lugn och trevlig gata. Ca 20min promenad till kända sevärdheter.

We booked a triple room as this was all that was available at the time. We arrived slightly earlier than allowed check-in time and were asked to sit in reception. They downgraded us to a twin room with no refund or discussion. The room was on the sixth floor and the lift only goes to the fifth floor. It was also next to the lift machinery so the room was very noisy. We were not advised of this or we would have objected. The room wasn't great. The bath panel had a big crack in it and the shower curtain was dirty as it was too long and sat constantly in the bottom of the bath. The shower was unable to maintain a constant temperature, fluctuating between scalding and cold so it was unsafe to stand under it. Housekeeping was terrible. One bed was not changed for the entire week and the other one was only changed after a complaint to reception. Surfaces were not cleaned. Bedspreads were left thrown on the floor or stuffed into the wardrobe, pushing our clothes to the back of the shelf. The housekeeper left numerous items, including used pillow cases in the room. Breakfast was shambolic. The range of food was limited. The space was not big enough. Most days we had to wait for clean crockery or cutlery to be made available. We complained to reception about the downgraded room and poor housekeeping but they didn't seem to care and no improvements were made. Overall the worst hotel we've ever stayed in, we strongly recommend you do not stay here even though the location is good.

Rude services in a beautiful hotel

not so good, the hotel has nice grand furnishings but the rooms are so so. Shower water stays cold or once it gets hot, then it stays hot . But the service was rude and inconsistent. we were forced to pay in cash and we were promised that we. can have something small for breakfast for 7 am due to early checkout. When 7 am came, another person said that no, nothing can be done until breakfast opens at 730.

If you’re looking for a place that’s affordable and centrally located, this is the place. About a 10 min walk from the Coliseum, 3 min walk from St. Mary Major Basilica, less than 15 min cab ride to the Spanish Seps. If you don’t plan on staying in the room very long and your touring the city all day, this hotel is great for that.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Prior to arrival, the hotel was paid in full. Upon arrival, the front desk stated that the tourist tax must be paid in cash & card would not work. He instructed my husband to find an ATM & would not allow us to check in until it was paid. After walking to 3 ATMs we were able to find one that was working. Checking in, the staff made a copy of our passports & informed us that EVERY TIME we exited the hotel we must return the room key to the front desk. This seemed a bit strange to us, the staff stated that the key is better left with them. Everytime you would request your key back, the staff would have to reactivate the key for you (sometimes forgetting & you would have to go back downstairs for reactivation). The staff would also act like they are doing you a favor, many times too busy on their phones to greet you while tossing your key back. On the second day of our stay, our room was “cleaned” & only one of two towels were replaced. I asked the front desk staff if we were able to get an additional towel since we only had one towel for two people. The staff member went in the back behind the staircase where the clean towels are stored & stated that she did not have one additional towel to give me & that the towels back there were for tomorrow. We found another hotel & upon leaving I asked for a receipt, however the staff could not find any evidence of my stay, & told me that she could email me a receipt tomorrow. Terrible place, terrible experience.
