GREAT hotel...perfect stay in Rome

WE just love this hotel. We have stayed 4 times in the last couple years. We've brought big groups which they handle nicely and small groups the same! The rooftop is beautiful and the staff is wonderful especially the concierge who are super helpful and friendly. See you in September.

Great location, next to Barberini metro stop...watch out for pick pocketers though, had my wallet stolen as we boarded a metro train (rush of people on/off caused disturbance). Nice roof top bar (future restaurant), but need reservations. Great view of many sites from the roof.

What a great place to stay in Rome. All the tourist sites are within walking distance. Lots of shopping and dinning options around the hotel. Friendly and However, No iron and ironing board in the room was a big inconvenience. They provided handheld Steam iron which was not ideal to press the clothes. No microwave in the room also.

Great hotel at a great location, conveniently located in front of a subway station and right next to a "Hop On Hop Off" bus stop if you are touring the city. One minor detail is that if you get a room with a terrace, you can hear guests from other rooms when they are in the terrace area. This was not a problem for me because the other guests were great and kept the noise to a minimum, but it could be a problem if you are looking for a super quiet room.

We arrived Friday evening and the staff were excellent you can’t fault them. We got upgraded to the top floor and deluxe suite but it turned out to be a disadvantage. Right above us was the rooftop bar and there was a movie event on. We went up and could swear to god that steven Spielberg was standing there. Anyway, got told we had to go back downstairs. As for the room it was spacious for Rome just very noisy with the movie event on above us then outside our door led to the lifts from the rooftop so it got very noisy The shower… imagine the scene in Elf where he’s trying to wash in the small showers and you get the idea Can’t fault it other than that. Great staff, location is superb

To start, our room smelled like raw sewage. Certainly a plumbing issues. They did not take care of it despite multiple calls. Then, at checkout, we noticed massive undisclosed additional charges, increasing our rate by fifty percent. They claimed room was for one person and you had two individuals. Having stayed with Marriott for over 30 years, rooms are per always priced per night based on double occupancy. We did not exceed occupancy and we did not have breakfast included. They refused to adjust.
