"Upon arrival we were informed that the elevator does not work and we had two suitcases and I was not able to take them up two flights of stairs. Therefore I had to leave my suitcases in my car when I had essential items in there. I needed it. I was very disappointed and they did nothing to accommodate. "Hotel was in a quiet location with la lot of parking. Its a large hotel but was lacking in guests. Thre is nowhere to get an an evening meal. Breakfast simple but adequate. The room was large but it was very hot, the window sash was broken and Lthough a fan was provided it was almost impossible to sleep. The bathroom was ok but the heated towel rail could not be switched off and therefore far to hot!. Wr did visit during exceptionally hot weather."

"A charming Gastropub hotel on the edge of Epping Forest conveniently located near Chingford overground station with direct links to Liverpool St. The hotel is a tudor style timber and white plaster building with stained glass windows amongst many other old world embellishments. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the restaurant a treat with exceedingly helpful and pleasant staff."
