"Really nice hotel and we really enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful gardens / pool area, however our room was directly above a very noisy kitchen fan which started (and woke us up) before 6.30am and didn’t turn off until 9.30pm."

"Looks like some of the rooms have been re-done since my last visit so that was great but if you want Maritime nostalgia then there's nowhere better to stay."

"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."

"Hotel staff and concierge were great. Breakfast was excellent for a buffet. The restaurant and pub seemed to have staffing problems and were not attentive. The facility is showing it's age, however. Still, it was convenient to the mall for shopping. A little to far to walk to the Horizon cruise terminal with any luggage, but the concierge hooked us up with a taxi."

"Really enjoyable stay. Hotel is a little dated but very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. Will definitely stay again."

"We loved our stay, staff were great, breakfast was lovely, had a swim in the afternoon and again before breakfast. The only fault I can speak of was a sewer smell in our room which initially we were hoping would go but in the end we had to report it. We were instantly given another room. Lots of parking space, for those in a car and the sea views are great 👍"

"Great location close to everything, There was no air con in the rooms but the reception and bar had great air con. When asking the staff requests and them promising there would do it. They did not follow through with the requests even when going down to ask if they were still going to do so.
