"The initial room we were offered smelled strongly of mildew. We went back to the front desk and requested another room, which was provided, and when we opened that one it was exactly the same. We notified the front desk we were going to have to seek another hotel, and left. When we subsequently requested a refund through Expedia, the hotel declined saying that we had not let them know we were leaving. Do not recommend. "The price is the only thing that is decent about this place. If that is all you care about then it might be fine, but the rooms smell mildewed and the walkways are filthy around the rooms and the backside is very sketchy. It wouldn’t take a lot to make this acceptable but if you don’t care about anything but the price then it might be OK for you but otherwise beware."

"The place has been in SP since my childhood, sadly no attention is given to details! Bathroom fixtures-RUSTED!! It would take $30 dollars to replace and easily installed, but owner obviously not bothered. Place was booked, money should be reinvested in property!!!! It does have charm at a distance."

"It’s definitely not what it appears on Expedia. The furniture was broken in my room, there was mold in the shower and what looked to be a good amount of crime in the parking lot. I didn’t get a refund. I checked out right away and paid for another hotel. It was that bad. The property refused to refund my money even though I just got there."
