"Stayed in a family suite with lounge and kitchen. Everything you needed for your stay was there. Lovely clean accommodation and even a real fire. Bed super comfy. Evening meal superb with good portions and attentive staff who were very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Fabulous cosy lounges with log fires to choose from and relax. Great bar. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of dishes. This country hotel is only a few minutes drive from Helmsley for shopping. Had a really lovely stay and would return in a heart beat. Thank you. "Lovely old inn. Comfortable rooms, lovely and warm on arrival and throughout - I actually turned the radiator down. Lovely staff, good breakfast, free parking. Slept well. I’ve stayed here for a music festival in Whitby 3 times and booked again for next year whilst there this year. Highly recommend. "
