"The hotel with the rooms was very outdated. Horrible smell everywhere. Staff were nice and helpful though. We could only park behind the dirty building, car park full of rubbish. The walls were paper-thin, so we heard every conversation (it was rather a screaming between family members) and door slam in the hallway. Ruined our entire weekend. The room was filthy, with dust thick on the Cupboards, shelves, no hoovering was done, I had dirty towels. TV couldn’t be used. The price was very low...

"My little boy (7) and I have just come back from a wonderful half term week at The Cimon & I could not recommend it enough. A quick stroll to the beach, offering plenty of eateries, with options for all. The pool was an absolute god send as the weather was just perfect. Julia & Jamie were so lovely & helpful offering lots of ideas in and around Torquay. We will definitely return."

" Overall this nice little BnB is very good. The hostess is very friendly and helpful with local sights etc. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by a very uncomfortable mattress.There was a slant to the room which caused feet higher than head. Had to move around bedding and place cushions under mattress, but still could not sleep. The curtains were too thin, so at 530am the room was very bright. We booked for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to lack of sleep."

"The pre-welcome before we arrived with a phone call and email etc. advising of the entertainment schedule etc. was a fantastic touch, so was the professional manner of the staff member when I called to ask about an extra guest. On arrival however the welcome at the reception wasn't the warmest, both females on the front desk didn't look or sound the happiest but we're professional. We found our apartment which was very spacious however was showing signs of disrepair in places and lacking...
