"The room was clean but not 5 star clean. There was dust on the desk and one of the shower bottles had the adhesive fail all on its own. Keep in mind thus is a historic hotel....so pretty and cool, but there is no pool which is a little sad for a hotel in Sacramento."

"The building is incredible, and a great place to stay in the city - quiet, comfortable, and very close to everything downtown. Staff were warm and friendly, the facilities were very clean, the bed was comfortable. They have a deal worked out with a lovely cafe a couple blocks away so you can get a discount on meals and drinks there. The only walkable groceries are convenience stores/bodegas, but I expected that in a city. Would highly recommend, and I'll be back anytime I need to come through...

"Very beautiful place. My complaint would be that there was hair everywhere from the previous person or the staff and we couldn’t use the bathtub shown in the picture because there was a tone of shoe prints as if someone was walking around in it. Other than that staff was kind and the welcoming. "
