"This was a very nice stay with an excellent cleaning staff and a customer service phone staff that helped me get checked in. Checking in was a horror story as I do not have a smart phone and did not have internet available as I was travelling. NO WHERE in the emails I received at home indicated that I needed a smart phone to check-in. The reservation was made and paid in full (for a stay on 11 May 2026) in Dec 2025. "Generally, a very nice hotel, with great oceanfront location, except there are touches that do not meet the standard, given the hotel rating and pricing. The most disappointing issue was the on-site restaurant service at Tula. We had a miserable lunch service where the food and drink order was over an hour wait. Then we had breakfast the next day, and it took almost 2 hours to be served, as they mishandled our orders and had to restart the orders. The food was just OK. Also, room service...

"It was incredibly expensive to be so far from everything and it felt old and run down. Definitely would not stay here again without some upgrades to the property for the price."

"The room had a few roaches, floor and shower were dirty and kitchen appliances were dirty too. We could not use the kitchen, our main reason to stay here. We will not be back."

"The photos listed are not of this property. You are across the street from the ocean. The unit was hodge podge. Only outlet to plug your phone is was above the stove so the cords were hanging down. Tiny coffee maker but no way to plug that in unless you sat it on the stove and used that same outlet. Ceiling fan missing a blade. Water was brownish yellow"

"My bathroom was a mess. The toilet was leaking water. Maintenance went and fixed it. The problem wasn’t fixed, it was still leaking water. I had to call the front desk two more times to send someone to fix it. Then the water wasn’t draining in the tub. Maintenance had to come again to fix it. It was not unclogged all the way. The bathroom floor and the entrance inside the room was dirty. The worst experience I had from staying at an hotel. The front desk staff were really nice and professional."
