Chalets in Saint Philip

First people we met were there for four and two weeks and had been on many previous locations - a good start. What a fabulous location, direct access to the beach and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Friendly staff looking after the beach every day and cleaning the rooms. The apartments are a little dated but the bed was comfortable, excellent air conditioning and the kitchen perfectly adequate. Good cocktail bar and restaurant next door.

Beautiful peaceful location and plenty of areas to relax so does not feel crowded. Right on a small but lovely sandy beach. Attentive pleasant staff.

This hotel came highly recommended by friends and I am very happy to repeat those recommendations. Lush garden environment with many interesting plants. Extensive variety of birds and small (harmless) creatures. Great staff, a desk which is open until late every day. The owner is on site daily and is totally approachable.Ground floor rooms have immediate access to the beach and pool. Upper floor rooms seem suspended just below the tree canopy. Beautiful place in an amazing location but above all the staff were above and beyond. The breakfast chef, the waitresses at breakfast and the especially the bar man Dalston. They really made our trip. Should have stayed longer.

Great place to stay. Nice room. Restaurant, pool, views all very good. The only thing that might bother some people is the location- it's a fair walk down to the beach at Dickenson Bay, and a tough climb back up. If you have a hire car, it's not an issue, but we didn't, and for example needed a taxi to get anywhere, eg into St Johns.

We loved this place. Handy for St John’s and the airport. Lovely gardens all around. Well cooled by trade winds blowing through the apartments (if you leave the windows open). And a friendly atmosphere led by the manager. Good food and friendly service in the restaurant, too.

Fantastic holiday. Perfect for us as a couple. Relaxing.

Great location right by the harbour in a historic place.

Tucked away in the Five Islands area of Antigua west of St John's. This delightful little group of cottages is situated on a lagoon just beyond the sea. the local beach is a six minute walk and very secluded. The gardens around the cottages are well kept and good for the local wildlife (birds, butterflies, lizards). The cottages are very well fitted out with all creature comforts (comfy bed and sofa) and plenty of cooking utensils (pots, pans, crockery etc). Lovely balcony with hammock and table...

The Ocean Inn is a home from home. The owner Robert is very helpful and welcoming as are all the staff. This is a truly unique place to stay. Beautiful views overlooking English Harbour, best breakfast in town and a wonderful place to relax. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel & amazing staff who go the extra mile. The cleanliness of the rooms & general areas excellent. Pillow menu not quite but an excellent choice of pillows available. The only downside & it’s a small one is the poor quality of the WiFi. It perhaps is stronger nearer the main building but we were in one of the Sanctuary room which are the furthest away from the main buildings. The food is amazing as are the drinks. Breakfast brings Chef Andy with his basket of freshly baked pastries.

We were met by reception when we arrived and given a quick walk around our accommodation. We had a two bedroom villa which was two villas upstairs and downstairs combined. Worked brilliantly with us and teenage boys. The beach was a short stroll down the hill and we had vouchers for vouchers. Beach lovely and really quiet when no cruise ships. Next to sandals so nice. Sea really inviting to go for a dip or swim. George took us out three times on his speedboat to go snorkelling reasonable prices....

We loved this hotel, it's a gem of a place. Run with care and attention to detail, the overall ambience is pretty special. Gorgeous setting in a truly historic dock area. Rooms are respectful of the original colonial architecture and so have a lovely loft/warehouse type feel. It's quietly classy without trying too hard, eg it's an easy place to relax in, laid back while respectful if that makes sense. Nelsons dockyard is a lovely place to wander around, beautifully preserved and easy to see...

Excellent stop over hotel before two weeks in Tortola. Also stayed again on our way back to the UK. Staff were super friendly and helpful and we were also able to pay a little more for a late check out which was a godsend. Would definitely stay there again. Would recommend rooms overlooking the harbour - fantastic view of awesome super yachts!

Property is very clean and has an amazing beach.

We were upgraded into a beautiful 1 bed apartment and thoroughly enjoyed 10 days there. The staff, service, location was wonderful. So close to a beautiful beach. Antigua village is small, select and felt very personal. We hope to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I love hotel

Beautiful resort. Some of the best beaches we have ever seen. Staff were so helpful and friendly. It was very quiet when we were there at the end of October but I guess that’s just the season. We had. 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite with lounge diner and wraparound balcony. The accommodation was immaculately clean and cleaned twice daily. We’d recommend it.

What can I say that you don't get from other descriptions? The beds around the infinity pool are the most comfortable I have ever relaxed on. The staff are fantastic and its worth chatting to them and getting to know them.The private boat to the little island is superb and the towels and dressing gowns are very smart. Great cocktails. It was relatively quite when we were there. Enjoyed the workout with coach Tango at 10am in the morning.
