"We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. Our room was gorgeous; modern yet rustic and equipped with everything to make our stay spot on! Staff were lovely and attentive, and breakfast was amazing. "Nice B&B type guest house with friendly staff. It’s an easy walk from the railway station (make sure to depart the station at the exit near platform 1–saves a lot of steps). The only possible issue is that the beds correspond to US double size, so expect some cozy nights. Nice home-cooked breakfast. Recommended!"
