"Rooms were smaller than expected with a small couch. I tried to upgrade to 2 queens and a sofa bed for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. I couldn’t upgrade and it was understandable. Labor day weekend. I did not expect coronado being a beach community but beautiful. Safe and lots to do being a small community. Smoking laws are enforced so look into that. Pool was clean, street parking was 1-2 blocks away but just follow the posted signs. I got parking on my last day. Had one guest double park on my assigned spot. Management fixed it within 10-15 mins. Used the pool and bicycles that are free to use."

"We were very happy with our choice to stay at the 1906 Lodge during our brief trip to San Diego. The staff, room, service, food, and property were all top-notch, especially the ladies working on the front line dealing directly with guests."
The Bower Coronado

"Not cheap, parking is also $65. I can live with price of the room and parking, but to charge $54 resort fee when this hotel is not even close to a resort, is pure price gouging. The hotel can say but that includes wifi (don't need it, got cell service) and we offer beach chairs, but they are not running and setting you up at the beach. A hotel that is truly a "resort" is right accross the street Hotel Del for example. I will stay at the Bower again, but just a one nighter."

"I have nothing negative to say. Our stay was wonderful. So many things to do if you want to take advantage. It was so relaxing which is very difficult for me to do. The beach area was nice and clean and so relaxing. There are various food places to choose from. Everyone was so nice and made us feel at home. I would come back in a heartbeat!"
