The Phoenix Hotel
The hotel was untidy and shabby, the walls were full of holes, and fleas were crawling around the room. The TV was not working. The front desk staff are polite and helpful

Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf
Excellent location, walking distance to the warf. Fire pits out front and by the pool for great seating areas. Said it was heated, but not enough to swim on a cold day. Spa would be nice.

I think that a valet service would have been great. With parking at 49/night plus tax and an odd flow of traffic in and out of the front of the hotel it would has been very helpful
