"Unbeatable location at the heart of downtown SF. This property is on the older side but well-maintained and basic with great charm or character and history of San Francisco properties. It isn't refurbished or modern as some other similar hotels in the area are. Hence they do emphasize there is only fan in (most?) rooms which I had no problems with. The elevator and hallways are dated as part of the character of the property. There is a nice bar with happy hour in the lobby! It was overall worth...

"I was very pleased with this hotel. First time there. My room is clean and a good size. I was on the 11th floor and they had cement floors in the bedrooms which I prefer over carpet. I was also happy that I had good water pressure in the shower and hot water came pretty quick. The location was great. Right off Union square. I had a rental car and was able to park in the Westin Garage Right next door. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

Once you stay there, you will understand why it was President Obama's preferred place to stayl in SF. We recently stayed at another SF Hotel and deeply regretted not going back to the Omni. We were a bit put off by the $92 a day parking--but going forward will just look at it as part of the total room price when comparing other properties."

"This was a nice cozy small hotel building, the rooms were nice and the breakfast was great but don’t expect the usual eggs and sausage deal. They serve mostly healthy fruits and pastries. The only pet peeve I have is that they don’t mention a fee of $25 per night extra for the breakfast-on the website the breakfast is free but in actuality you pay for it!!"
