"We stayed at Hotel Canal Grande for 4 nights. The front desk staff was kind and accommodating. We arrived at 1 am in the morning and wanted to have a cocktail after a long day of travel. Even though the bar closed at 11 pm, the front desk clerk was kind enough to open the bar for us for as long as we wanted. "Very nice, clean, and well appointed apartment in Central Venice. Lots of space with kitchen, sitting area, and separate bedroom. Would highly recommend. You’ll meet someone on the day you arrive to receive a physical key at check-in. This is the only part of the process that was not completely clear, but the property managers were great and very nice when talking to us upon arrival. Enjoyed our stay!"

"Excellent hotel in an excellent location! Plenty of space for luggage and plenty of countertop space in the large bathrooms. Breakfast was the best of the 3 hotels we used during our trip all over Italy. The hotel is located in the heart of the city but it’s not too busy. 15 min walk from the train station and a 10 min walk to Per San Marco. We will definitely stay here if we ever return to Venice! The only negative thing to say is the doors to the rooms are loud when electronically unlocking...

"A large picturesque apartment in Venice to enjoy quiet time but still be close enough to all the landmarks. Great restaurants and amenities very handy. Staff were lovely and only a phone call and a few hundred metres away if we needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay. The only con was the shower. Although it had a large rain shower head, it only dribbled water down and the shower recess filled with water so much so we had to stop the shower to allow it to go down, worried it would flood...

"The hotel is in a great location on a side street and very quiet. The room was modern and clean. The bathroom was a nice size. There is no fridge or safe in the room. And no shelves or hooks in the bathroom for storage. The staff were wonderful and very responsive to email. They also have a spot to lock luggage if you arrive early, or have some time before leaving Venice. You can avoid carrying your luggage up and down bridges by taking the vaparetto from the train station to S Marcuolo stop, no...
