Hotel Mewah di Sancreed

"Travelling as a family we had 3 rooms here, one family room and 2 doubles. 2 of the rooms were amazing with views of St Michael’s mount. The 3rd room was tiny in comparison but cost roughly the same. So mixed views on the rooms, similarly in the restaurant, breakfast was excellent however, fish and chips in the restaurant in the evening and children’s meals were disappointing considering the location and price point."

"The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!"

"The property is tired. Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff. Long waiting times for food. Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. No obvious management. Fabulous views, great weather. Frustrating hotel. We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer. What a lost...

"A beautiful hotel in an incredible location, with lovely spa facilities that are worth a visit. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. That said, for a hotel of this calibre, we did notice a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations. Small touches — like having the tea tray refreshed without needing to ask — are the kind of details that elevate a stay, and we found ourselves having to prompt for these. "Great location with view overlooking the harbor. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly & helpful. Enjoying our food. Had a great time in the bar. Old charm with stairs to rooms. Definitely recommend if staying in this area of Cornwall!"

"Parking spaces were plentiful. The staff were kind and helpful and offered to carry our bags upstairs because there isn't a lift. The family room was a good size and clean and the bed was comfortable and had two pillows. It had a fan, heater, and iron and ironing board already there, but no air conditioning so it got quite hot during this heatwave. "Trevose Harbour House is in a perfect location in St Ives, is tastefully decorated and super comfortable. Ollie and Angela were great hosts. I can’t imagine a better place to stay if you’re visiting the area."
