"We have visited this hotel for 4 years in a row because of the location, cost is reasonable. friendly staffs ready to help-out. unfortunately , we have experienced same issue on every visit. despite our preference, we are consistently assigned a room next to the elevator which brings heavy traffic and constant dinging noises late at night and early in the morning. we asked the checking staff to change our room and always gets the same answer that all the rooms are full. I dont know how they decide to assign the room but we make the reservation at least 4 to 5 months ahead and that doesn't seem to help. we plan to visit hawaii every year and we are considering to stay at other hotel from now."

"My wife collapsed (I suspect as a result of dehydration) just after we had checked out at reception. The duty manager was there in a flash and my wife’s collapse had been observed by one of the ladies at reception, who immediately called 911. The staff were very helpful. They even arranged for my wife and I to return to the room we had just checked out of so my wife could lay down and recover after the paramedics had finished with her. Very impressed with their level of concern. Highly recommend The Wayfinder as a place to stay in Waikiki."

"Second time staying here as a family of 5 with 3 kids ! It’s truly the best, centrally located, not absurd valet prices. Everyone is helpful, free to rent beach toys and beach chairs/ towels! There will be a third time!"

"Too crowded - felt like I was at Disneyland. Pools were disappointing. Beach was great but they were charging $100 a day to rent a chair and umbrella. Also they had loud construction going on right by the main pool. I would not come back again"
